January 2020

Preliminary site visits were made to both the Rand Gold prospect in California and the High Bar gold mine in Prescott Nevada, where Torque representatives met with the respective site owners’ to asses their sites and discuss potential future development.

 

September 2020

A member of the Torque team accompanied a potential investor on site visits to 3 previously assessed licenses in California, Nevada and Arizona.

 

August 2021

Torque’s technical team completed a grade verification program alongside the property owners on an extensive gold claim in northern Arizona.

 

June 2021

The team travelled to Nye County, Nevada to peg 840 acres of land with the intention of proving up gold on the property in the future.

 

September 2021

Several test pits were conducted across the property on the Torque owned licenses in Nevada, gold was confirmed in every hole.

March 2022

Members from Torque’s technical and financial team travelled to Eastern Guinea in West Africa along with a representative of an Australian based investment company and the project owner. There the team conducted a series of test-pits with the goal of understanding the grade and potential volumes of the project. Significant grades were present warranting a follow up program.

 

June 2022

The technical team returned to the Guinean project to run a second test program to further understand the projects potential. Once again, the results were significant and Torque at this time has entered negotiations with all parties involved.

 

August 2022

The Torque team completed a 22 test pit program on an alluvial gold field in northern Nigeria, followed by an inspection of a hard-rock gold deposit in the same area. While in the country the team also visited two additional hard-rock deposits, one nickel and the other lithium, for preliminary assessments in central Nigeria. Torque worked with locals and government officials to complete the project, some of the local team members were given training by our Torque geologist to upskill their knowledge in the field.
